As Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan marks 25 years in the film industry, her fans have much to look forward to. To honor her remarkable journey, a special week-long film festival, titled “PVRINOX Celebrates 25 Years of Kareena Kapoor Khan”, has been announced. Scheduled to run from September 20 to 27, 2024, this tribute will take place in over 30 cinemas across 15 cities in India, showcasing some of her most memorable films.
Kareena, who debuted in 2000 with Refugee, quickly rose to stardom with iconic roles in movies such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Jab We Met, Omkara, and 3 Idiots. Her ability to adapt to various genres, ranging from romance and comedy to intense drama, has made her one of the most versatile actresses in the industry.
The film festival aims to take fans on a nostalgic journey, screening her most celebrated performances. Apart from her remarkable filmography, Kareena’s contributions to Indian cinema have also been in setting fashion trends and her unapologetic embrace of motherhood while remaining at the top of her career.
The event is expected to feature some of her classic films, including Jab We Met, Tashan, and Ki & Ka. The film festival will also include interactive sessions where fans can engage with some of Kareena’s co-stars and filmmakers who have worked closely with her throughout her career.
