The Marathi thriller Ghaath, directed by Chhatrapal Ninawe, is scheduled for release in Indian cinemas on September 27, 2024. Following its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, Ghaath has garnered international acclaim and is now making its way to a wider audience.
The film stars a talented ensemble cast including Jitendra Joshi, Milind Shinde, Suruchi Adarkar, Dhananjay Mandaokar, and Janardan Kadam. Produced by Shiladitya Bora of Platoon One and Manish Mundra of Drishyam Films, along with Milapsinh Jadeja, Sanyukta Gupta, and Kunal Kumar, Ghaath is also co-produced by Ashok Mahapatra, Shilpi Agarwal, and Pranav Chaturvedi.
In addition to its upcoming release, the producers have submitted Ghaath for consideration as India’s official Oscar entry, reflecting the film’s impressive global reception and its potential for further international recognition.
